Win Tickets to the California Beer Festival with your Beer Haiku

The folks at the California Beer Festival have generously provided two tickets to give away to their June 29th festival being held in Novato's Stafford Lake Park.  Featuring over 70 beers from a great looking list of breweries, music and a barbecue cook-off in a picturesque Marin County setting, it looks to be a great day of beer and good times.

Seems like a good reason to host a Beer Haiku Contest to give away winner the tickets.  For those wondering what Haiku is, it's the Japanese Poetic form consisting of three lines of five, seven, and five syllables each.   Like this:

So many beers I
cannot begin to decide
which one to drink now

C'mon, you can do better than this!  Just submit your Beer Haiku as a comment to this post, or e-mail it to me link you'll find here.  You can also send your Beer Haiku via Twitter on submit to the Ramblings of a Beer Runner Facebook page.  Entries must be submitted by midnight May 18th (Pacific Standard Time) to be posted next week.  Since it's my contest, I'll judge who will be declared the winner.  (Please note if you win, I'll need your mailing address to send you the tickets.)

For those wanting to attend this festival but either don't win or decline to participate, you can still get $2 off the price of admission with coupon code CBFSD whne you buy your tickets here.

Look forward to everyone's mind expanding Beer Haikus!

You could be enjoying this wonderful view in Novato's Stafford Park
while enjoying a great craft beer this June 29th
